Outlook Express 6 Setup Information...
1. By default some version of Microsoft Outlook Express should be installed
on your Windows computer. To start Outlook Express, click on the icon
shown below. Alternatively, you can start Outlook Express by clicking
on Start and then selecting
Programs and then
Outlook
Express.

Click on the "Tools" menu at the top of the Outlook Express window
and select "Accounts".

In the Internet Accounts window, click on "Add" and then click
on "Mail".

4. In the Your Name section of
the Internet Connection Wizard window, type your first and last names
as you want them to appear in the From field of your outgoing
messages. Then click on "Next".

5. In the Internet E-mail Address
section of the Internet Connection Wizard window, type your Chi-Town.com
e-mail address (for example, <name>@chi-town.com) in the E-mail
address box and click on "Next".

6. In the E-mail Server Names
section of the Internet Connection window:
a) Make sure "POP3" appears in
the drop-down box next to: My incoming mail server is a ___ server.
b) Under Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP,
or HTTP) server, type: "outlook.chi-town.com".
c) The Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: "outlook.chi-town.com".
d) Click on "Next".

7. In the Internet Mail Logon
section of the Internet Connection Wizard window:
a) In the Account name box, make sure
your Chi-Town.com username is correct.
b) In the Password box, type your Chi-Town.com
password.
c) By default, the Remember password
box is checked so you don't have to type your password every time you
start Outlook Express. Be aware, however, that anyone who uses your
computer will then be able to access your e-mail account. If privacy
is an issue, click on Remember password to uncheck this box.
d) Click on "Next".

8. When notified that you have successfully
entered all of the information required to set up your account, click
on "Finish".
9. Select "pop3.chi-town.com"
and then click "Properties".

10. Select the "Servers"
tab and place a check mark in the "My
server requires authentication" option.

11. Click "OK"
12. In the Internet Accounts window,
click on "Close".
13. Test your connection by pressing
the "Send/Recv" button at the
top of your Outlook Express window.
Your email is now all setup and ready
to use!
